The General Manger of Taxation, Modeste Mopa, has annulled the requirement for attestation of business localization as well as certificates issued for that purpose. He made the announcement on May 26, 2021, in Yaounde, reminding that things will henceforth be done online and that the procedure is underway.
Since January 1, 2021, tax registration is proven by an attestation issued online by the online tax administration platform. This attestation is the only documentary proof that a taxpayer is registered,” the circular reminds.
